Game System: D&D 5th Ed.
Min – Max number players: 2-5
Start Time: 7PM
GM:Jahmal Brown

Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the smallfolk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive cloud giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Where is the storm giant King Hekaton, who is tasked with keeping order among the giants?

The humans, dwarves, elves, and other small folk of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot from the onslaught of these giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the giants’ weapon against their ancient enemy the dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the giants’ own power against them.

Baseball Highlights 2045

Game System: Board Game – Eagle-Gryphon Games
Facilitator: Peter Anderson
Start Time: 2PM
Min – Max number players: 2-4
Session Length: 2Hours

Game description: Play ball! With the Royals in another pennant race, seems like a great time for some futuristic baseball action.

Baseball Highlights: 2045 is like watching TV highlights of early 21st-century baseball games, with the gameplay being full of theme with no outs or innings and without bogging down in a play-by-play baseball simulation. In this quick and interactive game, two players build their teams as they play, combining both strategy (building your team) and tactics (playing the game) without any of the downtime. During each “mini-game”, each player alternates playing six cards to simulate a full game’s highlights. The mini-game includes defensive and offensive actions, and your single card play may include elements of defensive and/or offensive plays. Do you try to thwart your opponent’s pending hits, put up strong offensive action of your own, or use your better players to do both? Players buy new free agents after each mini-game to improve their roster, and the team who wins the most mini-games in the series is the champ!

Game System: Board Game – Smirk & Dagger
Facilitator: Peter Anderson
Min – Max number players: 3-6

Game description: J’Accuse! is about implicating and accusing your friends and family of murder — and no one “wins” the game so much as one of you will lose! The object is to avoid suspicion for as long as you can, while assuring that someone else ends up accused for the crime. The game ends, and the loser is “Arrested”, when one player gets stuck with at least one of each type of Evidence OR by having ANY five pieces of Hard Evidence against them.

Games are 30-60 minutes. Open games run continuously as long as there are players.

Play a gang of rogues and scoundrels in the shadowed city of Duskwall! This industrial Gothic setting is in a shadowed world saturated with ghosts. Corruption is rampant, and the Iron Law of Distribution holds: them that has, gets.

You play agents of the Crows, the toughest crew in the Crow’s Foot neighborhood. Handle troubleshooting for them, and maybe you’ll get permission to start your own crew!

The system uses flashbacks to help plan scores, skipping over the speculation and preparation and jumping right into the action. The characters prepared so the players don’t have to!
